CALLING ALL ARTISTS:  Are you between the ages of 1 and 100 and have some creative abilities?  As we spruce up our church facilities we are looking for some artwork to fill the halls and various rooms---yes, even the restrooms.   Our emphasis will be the education building that is separate from the sanctuary.  Please don't be shy and do share with us your two dimensional artwork. WOMEN'S MINISTRIES:  We are looking for women willing to hold babies and read stories to toddlers this fall on Thursday mornings.  The Thursday "Gathering" (collective women's Bible studies) will be meeting up at church and offering childcare, beginning mid-September.  If you love children, and love serving women as they nurture their faith, contact Bonnie Fearer, bonnie@sbcommunity.org.

WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUPS:  Two prayer groups will be starting this summer on June 19 for women-please join us!

PURPOSE-DRIVEN LIFE BOOK GROUP FROM JULY 1-AUG 9:  Anyone is invited to join this short, 6-week book group of The Purpose-Driven Life. Each Saturday in July (the 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th) and the first two Saturdays in August (the 2nd & 9th) bring a chair or a blanket and meet out on the grassy area on the west campus of City College (near the fountain, overlooking the ocean and islands) from 10-11:30am.  Please contact Edee Kulper if you're interested: 564-4995 or edeeolson@hotmail.com.
