church retreat
ANNUAL ALL-CHURCH RETREAT: Once a year, for an extended time, we have an opportunity for the church body to enjoy fellowship together. This is a time to corporately worship God, reconnect with friends, make new ones, and receive great teaching. Most of all, we can praise God for the luxury of being able to spend a weekend together, drawing near to Him and each other. We will retreat to the Salvation Army Camp in Malibu Hills from Friday, April 16–Sunday, April 18th. Online registration has begun at www.sbcommunity.org/life/retreats/ and continues through March 14th. Opportunities will be available to register after services this Sunday and on March 14th. For complete information, pick up a flyer in the entry way. Questions? Contact Sara Rudeen at retreatinfo@sbcommunity.org or call 685-8577.
RETREAT PARENTS and OTHERS WHO LIKE TO HAVE FUN: If you are attending the annual all-church retreat, sign up today, March 7th & 14th for a Children’s Retreat Team Leadership slot. Individuals, homegroups, and groups of friends can also sign up to help during any of the sessions of the Children’s Retreat. As parents, you will devote one session of the retreat to helping with children but when you sign up, you get to choose your role. Then, mark your calendars to attend the Session Team Meeting April 6th, meet your teammates and enjoy planning your time with the kids together!
