Summer Seminar Series – June 20 – August 1, 2017
Seeking the Welfare of the City (from Jeremiah 29) is the title we’ve given this seminar series. Largely aimed at examining the “sub-communities” within our larger community of Santa Barbara, we will be hearing from people who are invested and involved in caring for people in our city, including the addicted and homeless , the elderly and disabled, human trafficking survivors; our multi-racial/multi-ethnic community, and more… The seminars run on Tuesday nights at 7pm, with BYOE BBQ beforehand at 5:45. The objective of these evenings is not primarily a “call to action,” but rather to seek growth in compassion for the city outside our church walls. See the announcements regarding specific specific topics (or download the flyer on our events page and then come back here to listen to any recorded sessions you may have missed. Questions?
