It is a privilege to have you worship with us. We hope your faith will be strengthened and your interest in God’s Word will grow. Our ministry focus is simple. We aim to know God and grow spiritually. We do this through Bible teaching, worship, and engaging in opportunities for discipleship and community. We invite you to participate.
We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us so below are some questions that you may have as you plan your visit. Have questions? Don’t hesitate to contact us or visit the Welcome Table on the patio when you visit.
Where is Santa Barbara Community Church located? Map and Information
What does a typical service look like? Our services are at 8:45am, 11am and 4pm. Each service runs 90 minutes and we typically worship, pray, share, listen to teaching and share in communion. There is time afterwards to meet others and chat on the patio with a cup of coffee or tea.
Do I need a Bible? It is recommended. If you don’t have one, free Bibles are available on the table in the church entryway that you may keep.
Can I bring coffee into the worship venue? Yes, and we offer coffee and tea on the patio in front of the church.
Where do I go for help once I arrive? There is a Welcome Table to greet you on the patio, as well as a Children’s Ministry Information Table. There are people posted at each of these tables that can answer your questions.
I have special needs. What accommodations are available? We have an ADA-friendly campus, and ample disabled parking spaces, but please contact our office if you have additional specific needs. Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Where do my children go? Services for children are available during each Sunday service. Please visit Children’s Ministries or Youth Ministry for more information, and stop by the Children’s Ministries Information Table before a service for help.
Children (Infant-4th grade) — We provide childcare for infants and toddlers, and Children’s Ministries activities at all three services including Children’s Church, game time and Sunday school for preschool through 4th grade.
Youth (5th-12th grade) — Youth Ministry of Santa Barbara Community Church exist to help students to cultivate a love for God, for His Word, for His church, and for His world in order that they might be conformed into the image of Christ. Youth group generally meets the first three Sundays of the month at the 11am service during the school year and on Wednesday nights during the summer. For a current schedule, contact Youth Ministry.
