AUG -------------------------------------------------------

* 24th (Sun) - 5th/6th meets for youth group during the 4pm service. Contact summer intern Karis Jolley (karisjolley@gmail.com) with questions.

* 31st (Sun) - there is NO youth group for 5th/6th due to Labor Day Holiday.

* 8th thru Sept 6 - JH & HS takes a break!

SEPT -------------------------------------------------------

* 3rd - HS Wednesday Morning Breakfast starts us again! We're trying it out at the new church campus!! 6:45-7:30am. Rides to school will be available.

* 5th-6th - annual retreat for all youth leaders (5th-12th grades).

* 7th - Sunday Youth Group starts up again for 5th-12th grades! 4pm service only.

* 8th-12th - small groups start up again for JH & HS. Adult leaders will be contacting their small group members with details.

We are SO thankful for a tremendous group of leaders who are serving our students. We enjoyed an amazing & rich summer of ministry and fun, and look forward to the fall.

Kelly has been a member of SBCC since 1986, and has been on the pastoral staff since 1994. Kelly attended UCSB and Fuller Seminary, and previous to guiding the youth ministry, was on staff from 1984-1995 with Young Life in Santa Barbara.

Erik has been a member of SBCC since 2001, and joined Kelly in the youth ministry as an intern January 07. Erik attended UCSB and is currently attending Fuller Seminary. Previous to coming on staff with the youth ministry, Erik spent a year in South Africa with Bridges of Hope International.

Karen McLean, Camp Registrar

Karen has been a member of SBCC since 1993. She attended Westmont College. Previous to serving SBCC in a wide variety of administrative capacities (bookkeeping, payroll, human resources), Karen served as a leader with Kelly from 1996-2005. She also partners with her husband Paul in serving on the SBCC Elder Board.
