Since Santa Barbara Community Church has partnered with Santa Barbara Community Development Center (SBCDC), it has been a tremendous blessing for our/your ministry.  Santa Barbara Community Church’s donations have helped us continue the services we have been doing in our community (Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Isla Vista) which include:

•  Isla Vista Tutoring Center – IVTC: SBCC’s donations has been instrumental in this program, supporting the IVTC Director, the daily snacks we serve to our kids, the Bible weekly theme materials that the IVTC Director got from UYWI – Urban Youth Workers Institute (a national Youth Workers Conference in Azuza Pacific, CA), IVTC materials, and software updates. All these efforts concluded with the victory in Jesus that brought all kids and parents to accept Jesus in their hearts (Easter 2008 and Christmas 2008).

• Food for Angels – FFA: SBCC’s donation helped us start again fresh with our new site in Isla Vista – the Hillel of SB parking lot. It also helped us support our new Program Director, and the bimonthly food distribution that we started in September 2008. SBCC’s donations also helped us getting the food needed for our increasing family list.

• SBCC’s donations helped us strengthen the SBCDC’s vision and administration.

Again and again, we thank our Father in Heaven for SBCC’s love, mercy and compassion to our Santa Barbara Communities and the SBCDC.
